3. DIGITAL FRACTION
DIGITAL FRACTION is a project I began in 2014, which ran actively until 2016, when I first started exploring photogrammetry and 3D scanning. The concept was to capture my surroundings in a three-dimensional format, then import these digitalized versions to create a fragmented, distorted, and digitally fractured interpretation of real space.
I executed this project three times: once in São Paulo, once in Helsinki, and once in Ljubljana. The Helsinki version evolved into Winter Every Day, which was showcased at the Finnish Embassy in Seoul, South Korea. The São Paulo version became a music video for O Sino, a collaboration between Doomy (UK) and Memórias de um Caramujo (BR). These projects are featured below.
This remains an ongoing exploration for me, and I continue to revisit it, now in connection with PLASTIC _ RAIN, drawing from the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my professional career, while incorporating the latest innovations in the field.
